SCOUTING AND EVALUATION AND TRAINING NOTES:
UPDATED 5/23/09
Good Timing, Quick foot and ball flight. Like to work on establishing and holding the set at plant position. You know what I'm talking about. Let me know if you are coming back this sometime before heading to that camp. Go have a great workout with Tim in So. Cal next week.

Played the last two seasons at Portland State, where he was the starting punter for all but 1 game. Before Portland State, I was attending Foothill JC, in Los Altos Hills, CA. He played there for two years where he handled both placekicking and punting duties. Before going to Foothill I spent one year at San Jose State, where he redshirted. In 2003, at Foothill, he average 42.2 on 34 punts in seven games, which ranked me 2nd in the state and 6th in the nation amoung JC punters. Not bad for my first season ever punting. I was 3 of 5 on FG, with a long of 36. This led me to being named to Street&Smith’s Super Sophomores Team before the 2004 season. Was also named a player to watch by JC Gride-wire for the 2004 season. In 2004 he averaged 39.6 on 39 punts.

The average was lowered due to two bad snaps that went flying over my head in the second game of the season. He recovered the loose balls and got off the punts, but only got a net of 10 yards on both. During conference play though, he averaged 41.2 yards on 21 punts. These were his last regular season games. Had 17 punts inside the 20, and out of my 17 punts inside the 20, 11 were inside the 10. On kickoff i had 18 touchbacks. Also was 6 of 9 on FG, with a long 41. At the end of the season I was named to the NorCal All-Conference Team as a punter.

Has been training year around with Paul Assad for the past 3 years, and have improved greatly in my technique.

Honors received: In 2003 finished 2nd in CA and 6th in the nation for punting in Community College Football. Was named to Street&Smith's 2004 Super Sophomores Team. 2004 NorCal All-Conference Team as a punter.
