UPDATED NEW VIDEO FROM SPRING 2010 TRAINING WITH COACH ASSAD:

------------------------------

Height: 6-1 - Weight: 210

College: East Stroudsburg University

General Area Workouts for Pro Teams: Recently, training in California with Coach Assad March 2010. Currently, in PA ready for Punting workouts and signing immediately. Plans to showcase in NFL Free Agent Camp April 2010 Las Vegas otherwise.
Scouting (Staff):
Paul Assad, Pro College Football Player Development and Scouting comments:
PARRISH SHOULDN'T LAST UNSIGNED LONG
Updated Report 3/2010: After a solid training camp and pre season with the Philadelphia Eagles and having Punts of 38 and 42 yards on MNF Pre Season with the Jets this player perhaps, looked like he might get an opportunity to play however, a nagging hamstring was hindering his ability to punt to his potential at the time.

3/2010 Workouts: Player showed up in tremendous physical condition. He looks leaner, faster and explosive. He demonstrated the ability to connect 5 plus second punts immediately. He spent 5 workout days using the foundation he's already, developed over 3 training seasons with Coach Assad who suggested he again address his ball set arm and hand position, the ability to drive more linear downfield thru the ball vs using the upper leg and hip so present and create complimentary power positions to generate speed thru impact vs to impact. By day 5, his last set he hit some outstanding punts into a crosswind with his last and best being a 5.45 - 55 yard punt that just knifed thru the winds. On this punt he is using the technique Coach Assad has been trying to work with him on where his steps and position create an athletic move setting up the strike and acceleration thru impact. Note: His arm position continues to improve his hand position is not orthodox but he makes it work.

Kick Off's
are decent with a best 4.0 inside the 5 kicking into crosswinds. He did make improvements on his stepping and balance and leg action thru the ball however, he can dramatically, improve this area of his game and should have his rythm before pre season. I would be surprised if this player even last unsigned before the Free Agent Camp in Las Vegas April 1-2. Recommendation to immediately, sign. Player hopes and will search out a team offering signing bonus, will not draft a Specialist this April and opportunity to earn the starting role.

Outstanding power and leg whip. Has improved footwork and quieted technique. Performed well in Camp and Pre Season with San Francisco in 07. Should be among top Free Agents available.
Update: 2/10/09
Punting: Has been living and training full time in Modesto with Paul Assad. Has made some footwork and tempo adjustments to releasing the ball and point of release to match foot. Also hip position and alignment thru impact and has been punting under 1.34 handle times hitting over 5 sec. 40-70 yards almost every ball with slightly broken in NFL footballs.

Kicking Off: Made adjustments to routine and position to kick off in safer positions with a more natural leg which action. Was experiencing a strain on the movement.

UPDATED: Has been excelling on Kicking Skills in addition to Punting. Seems NFL Ready.

UPDATE 5/27/09: Expected to Sign Today with the Eagles after a solid Punting and Kick Off Workout. He impressed personal with booming kick off's he's been developing. His last kick off was 9 deep into the end zone and worst on 10 directional kick off's was the 5 yard line.
