The Nicholls offense jumped out to a 20-0 lead Saturday against Azusa Pacific, but needed a late game-winning 23-yard field goal by senior Alex Romero with nine seconds left in the game to cap a come-from-behind shootout win against NAIA opponent Azusa Pacific (1-4), 30-28, at John L. Guidry Stadium.
