Paul Assad Pro College Football Scouting Comments: Originally discovered and Personally Trained by Paul Assad, Pro College Football Player Development and Scouting. Comparable leg strength to any NFL level kicker. Tremendous kick off Specialist and field goal kicker. Has trained alongside NFL's 2007 Leading Scorer Mason Crosby at Camp.
Career:
Updated 2008 Season: Big time Sophomore season. Made 7 field goals over 50 yards including a 57 and 62 yard game winner. Has demonstrated the ability to kick well in the Missouri winds and kick off well over 4 seconds deep into the endzone and get the ball downfield into it. Got his name out there for sure this year.
Updated 2009 Season: Handles punting duties as well this year. Felt like this player could have developed more on technique. Still has a booming leg. Had some injuries to deal with and knee surgery.
Updated July 9 2009: Has a made a full recovery with knee surgery. Showed he's more then just a strong leg and perhaps, the 2010 Best NFL Draft Specialist Pick with dramatic technique improvements setting up hip and torso position, leg action, distribution of speed thru ball impact and more disciplined hold of position thru the follow thru at workout in Kansas City today blasting kick off's of 4.31 - 82 yards with a slight breeze and high sailing end over end field goals the best from 60 yards clearing easily by 10 yards with trajectory.
